The German Institute Quality and Finance, in collaboration with La Repubblica – Affari & Finanza, published a few days ago the ranking of the 300 fastest growing Italian companies that were the driving force behind the recovery of SMEs.
Between 8 million companies, 10 000 have met the required parameters and the 300 best performing companies have been included in the ranking. We have the honor to announce that DEFLOMAS EYEWEAR has reached the 42nd position! Another small, great recognition that encourages us to do more and more for our little big market!
The editorial B2EYES, an Italian magazine specialized in the field of optics, spoke about us! The article regards the presence of Deflomas on the FT1000 ranking, compiled by the Financial Times.
When they called us for the first time, a few months ago, we thought it was a joke!The FT1000 is the ranking of European companies that recorded the greatest growth from 2012 to 2015. We have been honored to be part of the ranking drawn up by the famous English newspaper.

L’officina dell’occhiale @ Pico Maccario winery
Italian wines of great quality, combined with the best of eyewear. Two world excellences that mix together in a unique environment. A very special and elegant evening organized by Alessandro who works for L’officina dell’occhiale. Classical music in the background, gardens that open onto the vineyards of over 70 hectares of the winery, finger food tasting in the large cellars, where excellent local wines age without haste.
In one of the most iconic cafés in Italy, among the oldest in Florence, excellent cocktails were served in the presence of art installations. BEYOND SHADES … A cocktail party organized by Bottega di Sguardi in collaboration with Caffe Florian, to present the new collections of Thierry Lasry and Masunaga. A perfect atmosphere, good music and a shooting room where the guests performed with their favorite pair of glasses. A special thanks to our friend Simone di Bottega di Sguardi for having organized this fantastic aperitif!
OTTICA EREDI DETTONI @ Relà is frà Lorenzo “VERONA
In the splendid location of the relà is frà Lorenzo, an ancient villa immersed in the olive groves of the hills overlooking Verona, there was an evening dedicated to eyewear. Live jazz music, delicious finger food and champagne. In this breathtaking setting we presented our collections by Thierry Lasry, Kenzo Takada and Caroline Abram. A special thanks to our friend Paolo for the wonderful event!
The Matsuda & Masunaga collections displayed the excellences of Japanese production in an amusing and worldly context whilst paying homage to fashion all over the world that evening in Rome.Japanese models in original costumes, sushi by Hamasei, Japanese whiskey, staff dressed in kimonos, and much more to recreate a pleasant Japanese atmosphere.

During Sabaudia’s white night, with summer approaching, we proposed a new “look” … Under the arcades of the course we set up a corner display where all the friends and passersby could be photographed with their favourite pair of Thierry Lasry glasses. Then we created an album and the person who received the most “likes” won the glasses they wore in the photo … Special thanks to the team of Illusion d’optique and Marco from Ottica Al Corso..

At MIDO 2013, to present the come-back of Matsuda on the market, we organized an event at the Milan Wish
BOUDOIR @ Hilton Molino Stucky– Giudecca-VENICE
On the striking rooftop of the Hilton, from sunset onwards, we presented the new collection of Thierry Lasry. The presentation parade was followed by a dinner concluded with a swim in the pool surrounded by the fantastic view of Venice. A special thanks goes to Alessandro from Boudoir for having participated in the realization of the event.
